It’s been a few day since the last update because reasons. Since then we’ve met a lot of amazing people and had a lot of funky drinks from a lot of strange places. Some of our encounters have been: a Japanese fellow who runs a bar in a remote area of Osaka. Long story short, his — non english speaking, mind you! — friend ended up buying us beers and inviting us to an older woman’s sushi shop at 4 in the morning where we got loads of amazing food and drinks, all bought by the friend’s boss, a master sushi chef, from whom we also got a standing invitation to come back in the winter to eat Fugu (google that shit). Our hostel is also filling up with amazing people, and we’re currently contemplating joining a group of americans up Mt. Fuji.
