The ”not fastest Shinkansen” took us to Kyoto – apparently the city that believes it should be the capital of Japan. In Kyoto we were met with even smaller houses and even narrower streets than in Tokyo. And we felt even taller. We also stumbled upon a bar without electricity and endless popcorn serving.
